DJ Charvis

In addition to his work with private events and weddings, Chris is a specialized Karaoke DJ for several entertainment establishments throughout Indianapolis. Devon is a Purdue Electrical Engineering graduate who brings over 20 years of experience to the DJ Indiana team. His background as a musician includes touring Central Indiana as a member of several jazz orchestras and rock bands. A former member of the Purdue Jazz Band, Devon’s foundational understanding of music and live performance allows him to read crowds with precision and adapt to the specific needs of any event.

DJ Captain Jay Kirk

Jeremiah brings 12 years of professional experience to the DJ Indiana team, specializing in a diverse range of events including weddings, corporate galas, and festivals. He also travels extensively to manage high-energy college events and proms, bringing a polished and reliable presence to every campus he visits.

Jimmy is one of the most experienced professionals in the industry, with a career dating back to 1990. He began as a nightclub DJ during the “Super Club Era,” regularly performing for crowds of nearly 1,000 guests. In 1997, he transitioned into the private event sector after completing a formal certification and training program specifically for weddings in Indianapolis.

In addition to his 30-plus years of DJ experience, Jimmy is a specialized sound system installer and engineer. His background includes professional roles with American Audio Visual, Markey’s Audio Visual, and Indy Pro Audio, as well as providing live sound reinforcement for bands throughout Central Indiana.

Jimmy prides himself on his versatility and his ability to seamlessly mix any style of music to fit the specific needs of an event. Josetta brings over 10 years of experience to the DJ Indiana team, having personally managed more than 300 weddings and private events. Her professional foundation is built on an additional 200 events where she served as a training assistant alongside our veteran lead, DJ Chris Adair.

Josetta specializes in music for all ages, with an extensive knowledge of party classics dating back to the 1950s. She is particularly skilled in managing the energy of the dance floor using the hits of the 1970s and 1980s. Her deep experience and musical range allow her to read the crowd with precision, ensuring a professional and well-timed performance for every celebration.

DJ Khris

Khris brings a remarkable depth of experience to the DJ Indiana team, having DJed his first event in 1985. He built his foundation in Chicago’s vibrant nightclub scene, spinning House, Juke, R&B, Soul, and Disco. A 2001 graduate of Columbia College in Chicago with a degree in Audio Engineering, Khris possesses extensive technical expertise, having worked in professional recording studios producing and mixing for various artists.

Transitioning his club expertise into the private event sector, Khris has spent the last two decades delivering polished performances for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. With an estimated 500 weddings and over 1,000 non-wedding events to his credit, he has a proven track record of reliability and event management. Khris draws on his vast knowledge across genres—from Country and Classic Rock to EDM and the Current Top 100—to read the crowd with precision and maintain the right energy for any occasion.

LarryTheProducer

Larry brings over 12 years of professional experience to the DJ Indiana team. His extensive performance background ranges from providing the soundtrack for Purdue University football games at Ross-Ade Stadium to touring nationally with Quality Control. A former radio host on 104.9 WTSX, LarryTheProducer has built a reputation for versatility and seamless execution across a wide variety of high-energy environments.

Transitioning his live performance expertise into the private event sector, Larry has successfully managed over 60 weddings across the country. His deep knowledge of sound systems and professional-grade equipment ensures a clean, reliable setup for every celebration. Whether performing at premier venues like The Madame Carroll or managing a corporate gala, Larry combines technical proficiency with a natural ability to read a room with precision.

Today, he is a seasoned DJ and Master of Ceremonies with a proven track record of managing weddings, corporate events, school functions, and private parties.

Known for his premium technical setups, Matt specializes in high-end sound and lighting enhancements. He is currently the only DJ on the roster to offer elegant, illuminated totems as part of his setup. Available in configurations of two or four, these glowing columns serve as sleek speaker or lighting stands. Utilizing a clean white exterior and custom uplighting, Matt can seamlessly match the totems to any event’s color palette to elevate the room’s visual aesthetic.

Lauren

Lauren serves as the Systems Director for DJ Indiana, managing the IT, branding, and digital infrastructure that powers the company. As an educator and Indianapolis local, she brings a high level of organization and clear communication to her behind-the-scenes work, which is central to delivering a clean, modern client experience.
